First post... hopefully many more to come

Hello, my name is Peter, and this is my first official blog!
So here's some stuff that will let you get to know me better.
My #1 passion; the environment
Interests; hanging out with my friends, outdoor-activities, reading, watching movies, youth activism, music (almost all kinds), nature, working with others to solve problems.
Somethings people may not know about me; I have decided to boycott salmon, tuna, and lobster (not that I've ever eaten the last two) and eat only vegetarian pizzas this year, so that I can lessen my footprint on the environment. (and you should too!)
Role models; Martin Luther King Jr., Lance Armstrong, President Obama, my parents, people who take a leadership role in the environment, among others.
My first blog/ post;
I've never really been that "into" blogging, and I've never really tried to be that involved in the blogging community, except when my friends or organizations that I receive info from send me a link to a blog that I may be interested in.
So why now?, you might ask?
Well, for starters, It's no big secret among my friends and family that I like to share my thoughts and opinions, some of which are very strong. (especially when it comes to the environment)
Also, I think that it is important to our collective future to spread the messages of sustainability, conservation, or whatever one's passion may be to as many people as we can, in as many (peaceful- of course) ways as we can.
